Day 6

Today the conference officially started. After 3 hours of role calls and lunch we got the possibility to finally have an agenda. Yes the agenda was not given to us. Of course we got it off some director candidates cos they passed it round undercover (oops...guess its uncovered now!!) But this conference is showing that there is a lot of reflection, before taking action. It is focusing on knowing the end goal, wehre we wnt to be, what we want to achieve, and then feel now wht needs to be done to achieve that. I truly believe that this conference has been well prepared and that at the end the elects will have a good start with the preparations from this.

Today was also the day that we heard the PAI speeches. So what about them? Well Jarda spoke about his reflection that inspired him, Ryan the importance of questioning that little bit more, Gabi re-inforced the knowledge of being one AIESEC, one organization, and Dey literally took a plunge to open his heart to the global plenary. What were the impressions? Well let us say that today nothig in the news can generate more controversy to any AIESECer here in the room.

After dinner the PAI special event took place, which consisted of an interview to all PAI candidates with regards to AIESEC personal inspirations, abortion, terrorism, discrimination, and other world issues. HEaring them answer has been fascinating as it has given an insight to their characters and hopefully it has given the plenary the chance to truly select the best candidate for PAI 07/08.

Well tonight there is the SSGN party...the traffic lights party...that means that the Maltese Delegation will be wearing their dancing shoes tonight...and shaking thenight away.
