Day 5 - The Conference

IPM 2007 in Egypt has officially started today. The opening cermony that has taken place in one of the most prestigious hotels in Egypt when considering that it was not so long ago an Egypian Palace, was simply great. The dances the speeches, the atmosphere of everyone from so many different countries under one roof.

Well to make thigs even more full-filling around the whole international atmosphere we went to the Cairo Opera House where Global Village took place. I can tell you it was amazing...all the people...all the costumes...all the questions...and oh!... All the photos people took!!! It is just great to be at an AIESEC conference.

Malta was well represented by Miss Erika Borg (who has been telling everyone...don't I look like a cup cake?) and Miss Davlyn with the traditonal 'hat' so to put it. The stand was invaded and we made our country proud.

After that we all travlled to the conference venue...which by the way is HEAVEN ON EARTH!!!. Swimming pools galore...a lovely sandy beach...good food...nice rooms...warm water...and comfy beds. This should have been called Caesar's Palace!!!

Hehe. But anyway we kinda settled very comfortably and all we ahve to do is wait for tomrorw for the sessions to begin.
